I know what you mean. With 121 chapters - the logistics of arranging venues, trainers, food and sending out manuals means that leadership team training is a particularly busy time of the year for the entire team.

Yes i agree, and we also have to make sure those members are getting benefit too, and have realistic expectations of what they put into BNI, plus fit into the group on a long term basis too, within the core group of usual members, or we will keep going up and down.

Hi Niki, this looks like a BNI version of facebook, not that i am on that! Will be interesting to see how it goes, it does not appear anyone else from Masterton has joined yet...

Some of us are meeting tomorrow to discuss how to boost members, like your question to the others who they know here too.

Hi Nikki
-welcome :)
Here are some ideas to get you started on the BNIonline site;
-Got to your ‘My Page’ and fill in the gaps:
- Your status (not whether you’re married, but what you’re working on, or thinking about)
- Your profile information (about you, your web address etc)
- Upload your profile pic (very important!!)
- Do you have any BNI / business pics or vids to share?
- Add some ‘apps’ to your page (applications eg RSS adds in your other blog feed)
-Leave a message for another member on their ‘wall’.
-Add a discussion eg; what’s a recurring issue for BNI members?
-Ask a question eg; what’s the diference between a lead and a referral? Do you know of a good commercial photographer? Etc etc
-Set up a group eg BNI Head Office, BNI Newbies etc etc.
-Or start your own blog eg; about working at BNI, about networking tips etc
Have fun :)
