About me:
Iain Whyte author of Life,Business and speedboats was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland. He now lives in central Scotland with partner Val and daughters Morag (2years 6 months) and Heather who was born on 23 Sept 2009.

Iain began his career in the early 80s, selling for large organisations. In the late 90s he was installing computer software for Rolls Royce, British Aerospace Engineering, the Ministry of Defence and Customs and Excise (UK). However, Iain knew that his dream was to establish a business of his own. He celebrated the millennium with his own new IT company which he grew and then sold in 2004.

Iain now realised that his purpose and passion in life was to have a positive effect on the lives of others. He joined BNI, the world’s most successful networking organisation, and began to build many strong business relationships. Because of his talents and skills as a BNI member Iain was asked to help grow the organisation and energise the membership as an Assistant Director. By the end of 2004 Iain was building his own chapters in the untapped area of Aberdeen and soon afterwards took control of the franchise for BNI Scotland South & East.

Respected for his positive attitude, business insight and unfailing ability to motivate and inspire the BNI community, he has been recognised with many awards such as Top in Member Satisfaction (which he has won four times) and Top Speaker Award at the European Conference. His most prized trophy is the 2004 Givers Gain award presented at BNI's International Conference in Long Beach, California at which more than 35 countries were represented.
Since 2003 Iain has also toured the world, addressing business owners and entrepreneurs in the USA, Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Sweden, Ireland, and the UK.
My business name:
Big Man Talking
About my business:
Big Man Talking was founded in June 2008. This venture takes Iain’s unique approach to business across the globe, working with business owners and entrepreneurs through regular speaking tours, books, videos and accountability coaching.

Iain is also the Fund Raising Manager on the board of The Moebius Research Trust charity. In 2007 Iain and Colin Read set off from Boston on Harleys in kilts (of course!) in support of the Trust. They finished in Los Angeles three weeks later having driven 3907 miles and raised thousands of pounds and dollars on the way. www.kiltsacrossamerica.co.uk
