- About me:
- Born in the UK and emigrated to NZ with my family in 1998. I attended the launch of the first BNI chapter in the UK in 1996 and assembled the core group for what was to become the third chapter. I started BNI in NZ at the start of 1999 - and in so doing turned my back on a 15 year career as a Commercial Property Valuer (Registered Valuer). Currently I am looking at developing my spiritual side and am juggling the running of BNI NZ with a Masters in Psychotherapy. My goal is to help businesses to enter into a new spirit of cooperation and working together - embracing 'Givers Gain' and of working alongside community organisations such as Hospice. Last year (2009) BNI NZ raised over $100,000 for Hospice - something that I am very proud about!

I wonder if chapters need to know the logistics around organizing this -so they have more understanding of the importance of them doing their bit in a timely fashion.

Presented to Surf Life saving - northern region on Sunday. It is always great to get to work with these young ones. It was about networking and needless to say BNI got a big mention.
Off to Nelson today to do MSP and LTT in Blenhiem.
