It's been a long time since I have seen 2:30 am - but a lovely morning in Wellington as we boarded the ferry. Up the rumbly ramp, squeeze between two trucks and wer'e away - off to Picton. Only a few people on the ferry so plenty of sleeping room. Crashed out! Woke up to see Queen Charlotte Sounds through the window, sun peeking through the mist, what a beautiful morning at 6:00 am. A quick tour through Picton - three streets and a roundabout- and away to Blenhiem.
A relax in Blenhiem whole waiting for Rob. The sun up now. Welcome aboard Rob. Hehe we got one (two) over Rob, who jumped in the van and stalled it, put the window wipers on instead of indicator, not just once but a few times. Hmm we got the cargo this far - men drivers hahaha.
Off to Nelson to meet up with Tony. The van did take us to the hat shop in Mapua and welll would you believe it there was a wee brewery - be rude not to sample the local fare. But to the more serious stuff a great meeting with Tony to pack and pick a few more hampers. Thanks BNI Nelson and Blenhiem!
The last leg of the journey. Time for bed another early night in the morning.
