I was coaching a client last week and in the session they where talking about having a lack of leads in their business and this individual is a very astute business owner, the client conveyed that they were not feeling that excited about the 'clients' that they currently had, you could say the client was having a 'flat day' and we all get these days from time to time its normal and through the coaching session we discovered the underlying issue that was holding this 'flatness' in place and we had a conversation around that and I came back to my client with a question which was....

Can you expect to attract more customers if you are not happy and grateful for the customers that you do have??  

I asked..If you kept doing a favor for a friend and they never displayed any show of gratitude...Would you still feel like giving to that person?

No matter where your spirituality lies, being grateful for what you do have attracts more.  The client could see the cause and effect relationship and the power in being grateful.

So how do you actually do it....

I'd like to share with you how I do it  and I do it daily, its a habit and a very easy one to integrate into your daily routine, you simply  ask yourself some questions, you place them somewhere where you are conscious to them and you read them. My belief and experience is that the quality of the questions we ask ourselves and the quality of our internal dialogue determines our results and our results contribute to our success. The cause and effect relationship is huge, and something to get is that 'we' are never the 'results' the "results" we get are just an effect of the "actions" that we took and the "actions" we took were an effect of our 'thoughts' and 'feelings' at the time.

I'd like to state right now that you do not have to believe anything I share on the forum, its not the truth and I promise I will not lie to you....So please test and measure everything..

Consider asking yourself these questions daily....and at the start you may find this challenging, you may find some resistance and thats normal, if you do not have answer to a question simply move onto the next!

What am I grateful for today?

What am I happy about today?

What's 1 thing thats absolutely perfect in my business right now?

What's 1 thing thats absolutely perfect in my life right now?

Knowing that my goals are already a reality, What 3 actions am I taking today to manifest them into my life?

What more do I love about myself today than I did yesterday?

What more do I love about my partner today than I did yesterday?

What more do I love about my children today than I did yesterday?

How well is my personal/business vision sourcing me right now?

How will I add value to the people I interact with today?

That's great Darren. Here is a template that people can use on a daily basis to ensure they remain appreciative/grateful on a daily basis.

List at least 10 things/people you are grateful for in your life right now:

2) Choose one item/person and describe "why" you are grateful for this. Describe how it makes you feel:

3) Acknowledge your successes
List at least 5 successes you enjoyed yesterday. These can be very little (like making your bed) to very significant (like getting a new client)

Do this every day. Then, once you're in a place of feeling abundant again, it's time to get back to marketing. Remember, you've got to take ACTION too.

Great Point the Law of Attraction is not that powerful unless combined with the Law of Action, hence the question Knowing my goals are already a reality...What action am I taking today to manifest them into my Life?

Empowered action comes from utilizing your "engine room in the back" imprinting your subconscious mind with what you want to achieve "as if its already happened". Neuro-science research is indicating that the sub conscious equates to approx 83% of our brain mass and the 17% balance is your 'conscious mind'....what you use to drive the car, multitask etc and I have read that we lose conscious focus every 6 seconds!!!

Your "conscious mind" could be called the 'CEO' or the 'Captain of the Ship'....and its vital that the "Captain of the ship" and your "engine room in the back" your subconscious are in alignment, especially when it comes to goal setting, consider a Kayak...your conscious mind is the paddle and the sub conscious the rudder and if they are not aligned well you go in circles...more to come on this later!

The "Secret" is a great intro, it misses the action component and the subconscious imprinting introduced by Wallace Delois Wattles circa 1910 and of course taken further by Napolean Hill in "Think & Grow Rich" and if anyone wants a PDF copy let me know!
